Bike Doctor - Easy bike repair and maintenance App Reviews

Love this app some of the things I can do in my own and some I cant do but this app is very helpful. I had to get a new rim/ wheel and I dont know if it is the brake shoes or the rim it is very hard for me to stop ( rear wheel) I found on this app on how to clean the wheel and I have done it that way. But I feel I should go back to the dealership that put my rim/ wheel on and tell them just to change the brake shoes.

A great app, steadily getting better with every release. Has saved me a number of times from having to take to local bike shop.

I purchased a new bike recently, my old one was 18 years old. The new bike had disc brakes and other upgraded parts that I had never worked with before. I needed a good reference app to bring me up to speed with what I needed to do to. After going thru another popular bike repair app I found I still needed a better understanding on what the parts looked like and how they went together. This app provided that. The app also gave a heads up on what to look out for by mentioning common mistakes made by people like myself. There is also a safety inspection guide and a guide to doing a yearly overhaul. I just bought my first road bike and had to assemble it. This app gave me guidance in that process as well as maintenance help so I can make the bike last. I love it.

Very handy app

Enjoyed Bike Doctor after paying for it first time. Then, Bike Doctor sends out note that the Bike Doctor the version I bought will be discontinued but "for free" you can get the latest version. Well, they got me the latest version and I was billed $4.99. I absolutely was taken advantage of and would on principal not recommend this app.

Yeah the apps alright but not so much if you own a fixie

Perfect for a novice biker looking to keep his bikes in good condition without always going to the repair shop. Highly recommend!

Eh. Needs MUCH more content, pictures, and videos to be a $4.99 app. Also, the GUI is inconsistent. For some content the Next button is on the bottom of the screen and for other content its on top. This should be a $1.99 app at the very most. The instructions, tips, and advice are good and informative, as youd expect from Andreas. I hope he keeps improving this. Cmon London Cyclist, youre better than this!

Good start, but still too text heavy, and the vast majority of photos do not clearly illustrate what the text is explaining. Also the vast majority of the first 25-30 photos I looked at were terribly out of focus.
